One of my good friends was getting married and I was part of the wedding party. I hate weddings. But you do what you gotta do, right? A couple of the bridesmaids and I threw my friend a bachelorette party and I was in charge of the, uh, party favors. I also was in charge of getting the bride to be something unique and naughty for her special night.
I know of all the big places to buy "naughty" things but wanted something a little less crass and a little more unique.
I found Naughty Goodies while performing a search for bachelorette party gifts and games.
I liked what they had to offer and, despite the lack of key information that I believe every online store should have readily available to consumers, I took a chance and ordered from them.
Everything came as described but it took a while and I wasn't thrilled with the shipping and tax I was charged. Still, the prices are decent and the choices are unique.
What the Site Sells
Naughty goodies, of course! They sell gift baskets for men, women, and couples, "toys" for men and women, some games, videos, and role-playing things for couples, bachelorette gift baskets and party favors, and lotions and potions. Essentially, this is an adult toy store that looks more discreetand a little classier than most others. The only place they lose their discretion is in the men's toys section where they suddenly slip into porn film jargon when explaining what each object is. Otherwise, the wording is quite discreet.
Navigation
This site is not offensive and shows nothing graphic in the way of people using the products or anything of that nature. The only graphic thing about the site are the photos of the actual products themselves and, if those bother you, you probably wouldn't be on a site called Naughty Goodies in the first place.
Navigation is very simple. Choose from the following categories: Videos, Games & More, Gift Baskets, Bachlorette Gift Baskets and Party Ideas, Naughty Toys for Her, Naughty Toys for Him, and Lotions & Potions.
You can also do a keyword search.
Within the categories are subcategories. Click on one and you will see a listing of all the offerings going down the page. Each has a small photo and a one-line description. Click to enlarge the photo and read the full description and to see the price.
Be warned that there are some naughty — but not shockingly so — items for sale on this site. The gift baskets are tame and relatively unobtrusive but the toys for her and him are more explicit in nature. Again, you will only see a photo of the product and never will you see any nudity of any kind on the site. I still wouldn't shop on the site with a 10-year-old running around looking at the screen but it isn't a travesty if someone happens to see the screen when you are shopping, in my opinion.
Anyway, when you find what you want, add it to your cart.
Continue along until you are finished. At that point, you will go to the checkout where you can sign in if you are registered, choose to register, or purchase as a guest.
You don't know what your shipping charge will be until you get to the checkout, a pet peeve of mine. After supplying your billing and shipping address(es), you will see your shipping charge. I also was charged tax although I don't know why. They are located in California and I am in New York. Maybe they charge tax on everyone's purchases. There is no info about that on the site.
You can edit your cart, keep shopping, or checkout.
They accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Select the card type and fill in your number and expiry and you will get an instant conformation email.
When the order ships, you will get another email with tracking.
You should get your order in a reasonable amount of time. It took 19 days from the day I ordered to get mine and I thought that was pushing it considering I paid a decent amount for shipping.
Orders arrive discreetly packaged with the return address of Revlis, Inc. and no indication of what is in the box. Your credit card is also charged by Revlis, Inc. so even your bank won't know you are buying naughty goodies.
My Experience
I was hesitant to shop on the site because there was no shipping chart, no returns policy, and it seemed a little...iffy. I usually can feel when a site may not be all it is cracked up to be and I had a little worry that this one wouldn't be.
After browsing around, though, I found some unique things for the bachelorette party and a great gift basket for the bride to be. The prices were reasonable. I checked other online stores and they were higher or didn't have the same types of things. I decided to go for it.
Luckily, the order went through fine. My card wasn't charged until my order was shipped and everything did come, albeit a bit later than expected. I had plenty of time before the party so the 19 days wasn't a big deal but it still gave me reason to worry a bit.
The package gave no hint of what was inside at all. Even I didn't know who the box was from when it arrived. I order online so much, I figured it was some crazy impulse purchase I made after a 3 a.m. infomercial aired.
Inside, the gift baskets were shrink-wrapped so everything was perfectly in place. I liked that. The packing was great. Everything was just as it appeared on the site and boy, did we have a fun party. I couldn't find a male stripper on the site to shrink-wrap and send but I did manage to get one locally. Ha.
I didn't have any reason to contact customer service so I don't know how they operate.
Although I got what I ordered, I probably won't go back to the site. It isn't everyday I shop at an adult novelties store but, when I do, I don't like to pay shipping and tax!
I paid $12.99 for a $99.00 order which isn't crazy high but still, along with $7.25 tax, that nearly made the good prices not so good anymore.
As I said, I really don't like to shop on sites with no clear policies and this one doesn't have any. No return info, no shipping info, no tax info. They do have several ways to contact them and I could have written them or called them for specific information but I believe every online store should provide that basic info without being asked.
Shipping and Returns
Dunno. They don't say anywhere. Shipping is by USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. You don't have the choice. They make that for you. You find out your shipping costs when you are ready to checkout but before you enter your payment information.
As for returns, I would imagine most things are non-returnable given the nature of the products. I have no idea if they will accept unopened items. The lack of solid information on the site made me lose confidence in them and downrate them from a 4 star site to a 3 star one.

Conclusion
This site has reasonably priced adult themed products for men, women and couples. They have fun bachelorette party favors and gifts as well as unique gift baskets of several varieties. The site is discreet as far as graphic content and shipping and billing.
I don't like that I was charged tax since I don't believe there is a physical store in my state (which is usually only when I get charged tax) and the shipping was a bit higher than I would have liked to have paid for what I bought.
It also took 19 days to get my order which I feel is too long to wait when paying for fairly fast delivery.
Still, this site would be a 4 star one if they only had a stated returns policy and some sort of shipping chart or information on the site. I have to go with 3 stars when adding up the good and the bad although I did have a good experience and I got what I ordered and it was as described.
I recommend this site to those looking for unique items, particularly for gifts or special occasions. Some of the toys are crass but that's the nature of adult toys. I wasn't offended by anything I saw but others may be. This is one of the most discreet adult novelty sites you will come across though.
The bridesmaids were glad they put me in charge of the party favors and the gift basket for the bride and I didn't go over budget so I am not complaining. I just wish the site had a tad more information about their policies to make shoppers feel more at ease about buying from them.
