Linens 'n Things Closing 150 Stores
Check out Consumer Help Web's blog entry today about
Linens 'n Things declaring bankruptcy and closing stores. Good advice there. If you're holding a gift card, call your local store and see if they're on the list to be closed.
If so, there are plenty of discounts to be found. But you may also wind up with a pretty piece of plastic and a long drive to redeem the value.

Personalized gift cards

Just found out an even cooler personal gift card.
American Eagle Outiftters has a gift card that plays free songs and you can record a personal message on it. So cool!
Sometimes people hesitate to give gift cards because they think they aren't personal enough (honestly I think gift cards are a perfectly good gift)
But if you hesitate this year there's a solution, while searching
Macy's web site I saw they now offer personalized gift cards. You can add your own text and photos.
SO CUTE!
I saw a commercial last night for
Lowe's saying they are doing the same thing.
You guys know of any other places doing this?
