Bakery company Krispy Kreme (NYSE: KKD) is celebrating National Donut Day today by giving customers a free donut. You even get to choose the donut, err, doughnut, um, delicious goodness, as Homer Simpson might say.

We told you last month that McDonalds is heavily promoting its new chicken sandwich and chicken biscuit. Coupons have shown up in newspapers, mailers and even Amazon boxes.
Now we have word that Amazon orders continue to fulfill with a coupon good for one of each sandwich. So even if you miss out on your free donut today, you can always have a book delivered next week and dig into summer reading at Mickey D's for breakfast and lunch in the same day.
