Macy's shipping too costly
My mom did a HUGE amount of her holiday shopping online this yearhttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gif
and was pretty satisfied with the cost of shipping and a lot of the deals she found on shipping at sites like
Old Navy, http://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gif
,
Urban Outfitters , and more.
However, when she ordered one of my gifts from
Macy's she got a shipping cost of $17 on ONE item.
Pretty unhappy with the added cost, she wrote Marcy's, they apologized but offered her no deal or special offer for the future. Major bummer.

Personalized gift cards
UPDATE:
Just found out an even cooler personal gift card.
American Eagle Outiftters has a gift card that plays free songs and you can record a personal message on it. So cool!
Sometimes people hesitate to give gift cards because they think they aren't personal enough (honestly I think gift cards are a perfectly good gift)
But if you hesitate this year there's a solution, while searching
Macy's web site I saw they now offer personalized gift cards. You can add your own text and photos.
SO CUTE!
I saw a commercial last night for
Lowe's saying they are doing the same thing.
You guys know of any other places doing this?
