Bakery company Krispy Kreme (NYSE: KKD) is celebrating National Donut Day today by giving customers a free donut. You even get to choose the donut, err, doughnut, um, delicious goodness, as Homer Simpson might say.

We told you last month that McDonalds is heavily promoting its new chicken sandwich and chicken biscuit. Coupons have shown up in newspapers, mailers and even Amazon boxes.
